About our podcast production studio

Meet the people and the philosophy behind every episode we produce.

Our story

Essential Pod Faith was founded in 2018 in Gatineau, Quebec, by a small group of audio engineers and storytellers who saw an opportunity to make professional podcast production accessible to independent creators and faith-based organizations. At the time, high-quality production was largely reserved for well-funded media companies, and we wanted to change that.

What started as a two-person operation in a converted garage studio has grown into a full-service production house with a dedicated team of editors, sound designers, strategists, and project managers. We have produced more than 1,500 episodes across genres ranging from investigative journalism and business commentary to devotional series and community storytelling.

Our roots in faith-based media remain central to who we are, but our client roster now includes startups, non-profits, educational institutions, and corporate communications teams. Regardless of the subject matter, our approach stays the same: listen first, plan carefully, and deliver audio that sounds exceptional.

Inside our cozy podcast recording space

Mission and values

These guiding principles shape every project we take on and every relationship we build.

Our mission is simple: empower voices that matter through exceptional audio storytelling. We believe that podcasting is one of the most intimate and powerful media formats available today, and we are committed to helping our clients harness that power responsibly and effectively. Below are the core values that drive our daily work.

Authenticity first

We never ask clients to be something they are not. Our production process is designed to amplify your genuine voice, not replace it with a manufactured persona. Listeners connect with authenticity, and that is exactly what we help you deliver.

Craftsmanship

Every edit, every mix, and every master is treated with care. We hold ourselves to broadcast-quality standards because your audience deserves nothing less. Attention to detail is not optional — it is foundational to everything we produce.

Collaboration

Great podcasts are built through partnership. We work alongside you at every stage, welcoming your feedback and creative input. Our role is to guide and enhance, not to dictate. The best results come from genuine collaboration.

Accessibility

Professional production should not be gated behind enormous budgets. We offer scalable packages and transparent pricing so that solo creators, small churches, and community organizations can access the same quality as major networks.

Our journey so far

Key milestones that have shaped Essential Pod Faith into the studio it is today.

2018 — The beginning

Essential Pod Faith launched with two microphones, a laptop, and a passion for audio storytelling. Our first client was a local church in Gatineau looking to share weekly sermons online.

2019 — First 50 shows

By the end of our second year, we had produced episodes for fifty distinct podcast series, spanning faith, education, and community interest topics across Quebec and Ontario.

2020 — Studio expansion

We moved into a purpose-built studio space with professional acoustic treatment, upgraded monitoring equipment, and a dedicated editing suite capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

2022 — National reach

Clients from coast to coast began working with us remotely. We refined our virtual production workflow so that creators anywhere in Canada could access the same quality as our local partners.

2024 — 1,500 episodes and counting

We crossed the 1,500-episode milestone and welcomed our fourth full-time team member. Our client satisfaction rate stands at 98 percent, a number we are deeply proud of.
